Lamictal 25mg Tablets ’30s contain Lamotrigine 100mg used in the treatment of seizures and mania.
It’s an antiepileptic medication.
- It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
LAMICTAL 25MG contains Lamotrigine which belongs to a group of medicines called anti-epileptics.
This medicine can be used alone or in combination with other anti-epileptic medicines.
It is used to treat seizures that occur with a condition called Lennox-Gastaut syndrome for adults and children aged above 13 years of age.
In children aged 2 to 12 years it is used to treat a type of epilepsy called typical absence seizures.
It is used to treat bipolar disorder in adults above 18 years, alone or in combination with other medicines.
People with bipolar disorder have extreme mood swings, with periods of excitement alternating with periods of deep sadness or despair.
It prevents depression that occurs in bipolar disorder.
Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, depression, or suicidal thoughts.
