Sara D3 60000 iu(Vit D3) contains Vitamin D (ergocalciferol-D2 ,cholecalciferol-D3 ,alfacalcidol) which is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps your body absorb calcium and phosphorus. The right amount of vitamin D, calcium, and phosphorus is important for building and keeping strong bones.
Vitamin D with calcium is used to treat or prevent bone loss (osteoporosis). Vitamin D is also used with other medications to treat low levels of calcium or phosphate caused by certain disorders such as:
- hypoparathyroidism,
- pseudohypoparathyroidism,
- familial hypophosphatemia).
Sara D3 60000 iu(Vit D3) the safe upper limit of intake is set at 4000 IU/day. Intake in the range of 40,000–100,000 IU/day (10-25 times the recommended upper limit) has been linked with toxicity in humans.
