Description
Proximexa Susp 250mg/5ml 50ml contains cefuroxime. It treats the throat,sinus,ear infections,lung and chest infections. Also, it treats urine infection,skin and tissue infection.
Each 5 ml of reconstituted suspension contains 125 mg of Cefuroxime Axetil.
Cefuroxime Axetil is a semi-synthetic, broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic for oral administration.
Cefuroxime Axetil tablets are indicated for the treatment of patients with mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms in the conditions such as Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis caused by Streptococcus pyogenes, Acute Bacterial Otitis Media, Acute Bacterial Maxillary Sinusitis, Acute Bacterial Exacerbations of Chronic Bronchitis and Secondary Bacterial Infections of Acute Bronchitis,
- Uncomplicated Skin and Skin-Structure Infections, Uncomplicated Urinary Tract Infections, Uncomplicated Gonorrhea, Early Lyme Disease (erythema migrans).
It is contained in bottles of 50 ml.
