Proloc D 10mg/10mg Tablets 30’s is a combination medicine that treats gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) for patients who are not responding adequately to pantoprazole alone.
Proloc D 10mg/10mg Tablets 30’s is a combination of two medicines:Domperidone and Pantoprazole.
Domperidone is a prokinetic that works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines.
Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach.
Proloc-D Capsule also neutralizes the acid in the stomach and promotes easy passage of gas to reduce stomach discomfort.
It is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor.
The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine.
If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen.
Most common side effects are diarrhea, stomach pain, flatulence, dryness in the mouth, and headache.
Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time.
