Description
Powergesic Gel 30g is a Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) drug. As a result, it treats pain associated with Gout, Migraine, Rheumatoid Arthritis, sprains of muscles, and mild to moderate fever.
Diclofenac has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory properties. It works by inhibiting of cyclooxygenase ( COX-1 and COX-2). Menthol and methyl salicylate acts by first cooling the skin and then warming it up, providing a topical anesthetic and analgesic action on the affected area.
- Indication: Powergesic plus gel is indicated in sprains, strains, tendinitis, bursitis, joint pain, backache, lumbago, muscle stiffness, hand, neck, and shoulder pain, localized pain in osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis.
- Composition:Â Each 30g gel contains diclofenac diethylamine 1.16% w/w equivalent to
diclofenac sodium 1.0%w/w, linseed oil 3.0% w/w,menthol 5.0% w/w,
methyl salicylate 10.0% w/w. - Dosage: Gently massage the gel on the area you need to treat. Don’t apply this gel on a sore or broken skin side effects are rare but skin irritation may occur on the area applied.
