Description
Nitrest 10mg tablets 30’s contain Zolpidem 10mg which treats of insomnia. It belongs to a group of medicines called sedative-hypnotics. It works by slowing the activity of the nerve cells in the brain and helps fall asleep. To obtain the dose, a valid prescription from a legitimate doctor is needed.
SIDE EFFECTS OF NITREST 10MG TABLETS 30’S:
- Atypical thinking and behavior.
- hallucination.
- nightmare.
- somnolence.
- somnambulism.
- headache.
- nausea.
- vomiting,
- GI disturbances.
- upper and lower respiratory tract infection.
- fatigue.
- visual disturbances.
Potentially Fatal: Hepatitis, anaphylactic reactions, angioedema, sleep-driving (driving while not fully awake after drug intake, w/ no recollection of the event).
DRUG INTERACTIONS OF NITREST 10MG TAB:
Flumazenil reverses the sedative/hypnotic effect of zolpidem. Increased depressant effects w/ CNS depressants (e.g. sedatives, antihistamines, alcohol). Additive effect on decreased alertness and psychomotor performance w/ imipramine and chlorpromazine. Increased plasma concentration w/ itraconazole, ketoconazole and other CYP3A4 inhibitors. May decrease plasma concentration w/ CYP3A4 inducers (e.g. carbamazepine). Reduced hypnotic effect w/ rifampicin. Potentially Fatal: Increased risk of prolonged sedation and respiratory depression w/ ritonavir.
