Description
Bactiflox 500mg lactab contains ciprofloxacin which is an antibiotic. As a result, Ciprofloxacin works by killing bacteria that cause infections. It only works with specific strains of bacteria. It treats chest infections, urinary system infections, stomach infections, skin and soft tissue, bone and joint, anthrax inhalation exposure.
Bactiflox Lactab is used to treat bacterial infections in many different parts of the body. Oral liquid and tablets also treat anthrax infection after inhalational exposure. This medicine may mask or delay the symptoms of syphilis. It is not effective against syphilis infections.
In addition, Bactiflox Lactab extended-release tablets only treat urinary tract infections, including acute uncomplicated pyelonephritis.
Bactiflox Lactab belongs to the class of drugs known as quinolone antibiotics. It works by killing bacteria or preventing their growth. However, Bactiflox Lactab will not work for colds, flu, or other virus infections.

One should use this medicine on a need basis. A typical course of treatment can vary from a single dose to up to 2 months. Take Bactiflox Lactabs as directed by the doctor, even if you feel well or think that there is no need for you to use your medicine.
Avoid dairy products, such as milk or yogurt, while using Bactiflox Lactabs. Dairy products decrease the effectiveness of Bactiflox Lactabs. Avoid calcium-fortified juices. Absorption of Bactiflox Lactabs gets reduced when taken with calcium-fortified juices.
